This
week I visited Chelford Plant Auction again and after the disappointment last week
I managed to secure 2 Twisted Willows at a reasonable price together with 58
perennials. However, just one problem,
how do I get the Willow Trees home? I
struggled back to the car and clearly they will not fit into a small Peugeot. I call Steve who is 17 miles away busy
working at his nursery and like a knight in shining armour, he sets out on his
big yellow van to transport the trees, also offering to look after them until
the show.
Today
Adrian caught a mallard duck sitting in one of the pink trugs. He wasn’t quick enough to take a photo but
said it looked very funny but as the water lily’s grow, this could be a
problem.
